VIST 470 - Transparent & Emboss Shaders
We were tasked with creating two shaders from scratch. One would be a transparent shader while the other was to be an emboss displacement shader. Emboss Shader: RIB File Sl File This was created using a simple black and white texture as shown below. Transparent Shader RIB File Sl File Version #1 Version #2 I used one texture in version one and just created two spheres that overlap. While in version two I used two different textures on spheres that are transparent.
VIST 470 - Creating RIB Files
The assignment this week for my VIST 470 class was to create a RIB file. In this RIB file we were asked to create a space scene that had at least a planet and a spaceship. We were encouraged to use primitive shapes, because they allowed for a nice introduction level coding. Since most of us have never used RIB files before this was a interesting challenge to undertake. VIST 470 - Organic Object Recreation
The assignment was to pick a organic object, and take photos of it. Once we had taken photos we were tasked with recreating this image in 3D as close as possible to the original picture.
